Before proceeding with the erection, enlargement, alteration, repair or removal of any structure in the village, a building permit for such erection, enlargement, alteration, repair or removal shall first be obtained by the owner or his or her agent from the Building Commissioner. As part of the building permit application process, the Zoning Administrator shall review the application for compliance with this chapter.
