The provisions of the Cook County Clean Indoor Air Ordinance as adopted on March 15, 2006, by the Cook County Board of Commissioners shall for purposes of regulating smoking within the corporate limits of the village be amended as follows:
Section 4. "Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places" shall be amended by revising item 13 to read as follows:
13. Restaurants, not including bar areas or private banquet rooms.
Section 6. "Where Smoking is not Regulated" shall be amended by adding new paragraphs 6 and 7 to read as follows:
6. Bar areas in restaurants located in separate rooms even though said bar areas may contain dining tables.
7. Banquet rooms located in restaurants or in banquet facilities where said banquet is reserved for a private party, unless the party contracting for the banquet requests that smoking be prohibited.
