(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to remove or deface any sign, poster, notice or advertisement that may be posted or exhibited in the city except upon the authority of the person or persons posting up or exhibiting the same.
(B) The provisions of this section shall not apply to the Chief of Police or his or her designee acting pursuant to § 133.01.
