§ 51.018 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO PRESSURIZED SEWER SYSTEMS.
   (A)   Electrical power.
      (1)   All property owners who are to be served by the pressurized sewage system shall be required to furnish at their expense a 230 volt, single phase, 60 cycle feeder for supplying electrical power to the sewage ejection pump. The feeder circuit shall have a minimum of 20 amp capacity. The service shall be installed in conformance with the National Electrical Code, the local electrical inspection agency, and the electrical utility power supply.
      (2)   The property owner shall furnish the electrical power supply described in division (A)(1) of this section by the time the system is constructed on the subject property so that the electrical connection can be made to the system.
   (B)   Grinder pumps.
      (1)   Any person, firm, business, corporation or property owner who seeks to tap on to the sewer system and who is not covered by the 1982—1983 sewer expansion project and must utilize the pressurized method of sewage disposal must provide at its own expense the grinder pump which is installed at the property and which is tapped into the sewer line served by the city.
      (2)   Any grinder pumps required by this section must be approved by the Utility Commission before installation and must meet the specification set forth in Ord. 2-84, passed on February 20, 1984, and any subsequent amendments thereto. Ord. 2-84 and any subsequent amendments thereto are hereby adopted by reference and incorporated herein as if set out in their entirety.
