§ 51.016 PRIVATE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS PROHIBITED; EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to construct or maintain any privy, privy vault, septic tank, cesspool or other facility intended or used for the disposal of wastewater where public sanitary sewer service is available, except septic tanks may be maintained for overflow purposes only on a pressurized system.
   (B)   In case public sanitary sewer service is not available (as defined in § 51.001), any private facility intended for wastewater disposal shall meet all applicable regulations and requirements of the County Department of Health and all appropriate state agencies.
