1317.02 ADDRESS NUMBERS PAINTED ON CURBS.
   Persons wishing to paint address numbers on public curbs must obtain a permit from the Village. To be permitted to paint address numbers on public curbs, any person, business, group or other legal entity must adhere to the following:
   (a)   An application containing the name, address, and phone number of each individual who intends to perform the work must be listed on the application.
   (b)   A fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall accompany each application.
   (c)   The address numbers must be three (3) inches, white in color centered within a five (5)-inch high blue color background.
   (d)   When painting an address at one location, it must be placed at the center of the front property line. When painting an address of two (2) locations, it must be painted equidistant on each side of the driveway.
   (e)   A copy of the proposed curb painting must be approved by the Village Administrator. Prior to placing any numbers on curbs within the Village rights-of-way, the owner of the premises must authorize in writing the placing of address numbers on the curb at each location.
   (f)   The person performing the work must have the permit in their possession. Only those persons listed on the permit may perform the work.
   (g)   No permit may be transferred or assigned to another without the prior written consent of the Village Administrator.
   (h)   Unacceptable work must be removed or corrected within ten (10) working days.
   (i)   A permit shall lapse annually on December 31.
