No person, firm or corporation shall bring or cause to be brought, or buy, sell, advertise, give away, offer, show, exhibit, post, distribute, design, copy, draw, photograph, print, etch, engrave, cut, carve, make, public, utter or otherwise prepare, or assist in preparing or receive subscriptions for any indecent or obscene picture book, pamphlet or magazine.
