On all streets and alleys in the city, the stopping or parking of vehicles shall be parallel as provided by M.S. § 169.35, as amended and incorporated into this section by reference in §§ 70.01 through 70.04, except that angle parking shall be required on such streets and at such locations as the Council may by resolution duly enacted establish and prescribe from time to time. The exceptions to the general rule that parking shall be parallel are listed in the parking schedules of Chapter 73.
