§ 55.241 CONSENT ORDERS.
The Superintendent may enter into consent orders, assurances of compliance, or other similar documents establishing agreements with any user responsible for noncompliance. Such documents shall include compliance schedules containing specific remedial action to be taken by the user to correct the noncompliance within a time period specified by the document. Such documents shall be signed by an authorized representative of the user and by the Superintendent. Such documents may also include stipulated fines. The entrance into consent orders or other such agreements by a user shall constitute neither an admission of liability for purposes of civil litigation nor a plea of guilty for purposes of criminal prosecution. Consent orders or other similar agreements issued hereunder shall have the same force and effect as the administrative orders issued pursuant to §§ 55.243 and 55.244 and shall be judicially enforceable.
