§ 32.04 ACTING TOWNSHIP MANAGER.
   The Township Board shall appoint a person to serve as Acting Township Manager during the period of a vacancy in the office or during the absence of the Township Manager from the office when such vacancy or absence is for a period longer than two weeks. The Township Manager may designate any township officer, department director, or any qualified city employee to serve as Acting Township Manager during an absence from the duties of the office for any period of two weeks or less. Subject to the limitations set forth in § 32.03, the Acting Township Manager shall have all the responsibilities, duties, and authority of the Township Manager while serving in that capacity.
