§ 92.043 ANIMALS IN PARK.
   (A)   Except when lawfully in a dog park, as defined, no person shall bring into or have in his or her possession or control within the boundaries of any township park, any dog or animal of any kind, unless the dog or animal shall be kept on a leash not over six feet in length and under the reasonable control of some responsible person.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to bring into, or have in his or her possession or control, any dog or animal of any kind, in any township park other than picnic areas, non-motorized pathways and open areas. No dog or animal shall be allowed in any recreation area, including, but not limited to, ball diamonds, play structures, water play area or waterpark. This section shall not apply to leader dogs for the blind or to dogs under the control of the township or other law enforcement agency.
   (C)   All persons shall be responsible for the removal of all solid waste generated by any animal under their control.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any person to ride or lead any horse within the boundaries of any township park without written permission from the township. This section shall not apply to a law enforcement officer duly appointed by the United States, the state or by a political subdivision thereof utilizing horses in the performance of his or her official duties.
   (E)   It shall be unlawful for any person to annoy, chase, harass, kill or cause injury to any wildlife located on township park property. This division (E) does not prohibit the township or its agents from eradicating pests, varmints or other animals that may cause or that are causing damage to any township park property.

§ 92.044 CRUISING.
   It shall be unlawful for any person other than a law enforcement officer duly appointed by the United States, the state or by a political subdivision thereof or township employee in the course of his or her official duty to continuously cruise in any motor vehicle in or through any area of a township park.

§ 92.045 SIGNS AND HANDBILLS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person other than the township employees conducting official township business to offer or distribute handbills or other circulars within the boundaries of any township park without the written authorization of the township.
      (1)   If written authorization is obtained, handbills or other circulars may be offered or distributed within the boundaries of any township park only by passing them hand to hand.
      (2)   The distribution shall be allowed only in automobile parking lots, unless other areas for the distribution are designated by the township.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to post, fasten, paint or affix any placard, bill, notice or sign upon any structure, tree or automobile within the boundaries of any township park; except that, temporary directional signs for group picnics or events may be placed on in an area as not to endanger the lives of any person or operators of motor vehicles, which must be removed at the conclusion of the event.

§ 92.046 NOISE RESTRICTIONS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or play any musical instrument, radio, record or tape player, loudspeaker, public address system or sound amplifying equipment of any kind within the boundaries of any township park in a manner as to cause the sound emanating therefrom to exceed a loudness of 75 decibels when measured on the 70 db scale at a distance of 15 feet from the sound source without a written permit issued by the township or in a manner as to disturb or annoy the peace and good order of any township park.

§ 92.047 FIREWORKS.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, whether an adult or a minor to use any firework devices, as defined by the State Fireworks Law, being M.C.L.A. §§ 750.243(a) through 750.243(e), unless the use is authorized under a written permit issued by the Township Board within any township park.

§ 92.048 WEAPONS.
   No person shall, at any time, bring into or upon the township property, nor have in the person’s possession, nor discharge or set off anywhere upon said properties, explosive devices, air rifles, air guns, water guns, or any bow or other device that discharges projectiles by force of air, or any other force; or any other firearm contrary to the laws of the State of Michigan.
