ORDINANCE NO. 24-11
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING CODE OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF KNOXVILLE, IOWA, 2009
 
   BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Knoxville, Iowa:
 
   SECTION 1. The Official Zoning Map referred to in Title 9, Chapter 2, Section 2 of the City Zoning Code is amended by adding a zoning designation of R-3 Multi-Family Residential to the newly annexed real estate described as follows:
 
The Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 75 North, Range 20 West of the 5th P.M., Marion County, Iowa, except the following 6 tracts:
 
1)   The North 180 feet of the East 210 feet thereof;
2)   The South 210 feet of the North 450 feet of the East 210 feet thereof;
3)   The South 150 feet of the North 600 feet of the East 210 feet thereof;
4)   Parcel “B”, according to the Plat of Survey as recorded in Book 242, Page 309 in the Marion County, Iowa, Recorder’s office;
5)   The South 120 feet of the East 210 feet thereof; and
6)   Parcel “G” of the Plat of Survey of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 75 North, Range 20 West of the 5th P.M., Marion County, Iowa, as recorded in Book 2022, Page 2784.
 
The property is referred to as Parcel ID: 0644300500 by the Marion County, Iowa Assessor’s Office.
 
   SECTION 2. REPEALER. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
 
      SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudicated invalid or unconstitutional.
 
      SECTION 4. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval, and publication as provided by law.
 
PASSED by the City Council this 6th day of May 2024, and APPROVED this 6th day of May 2024.
