For large events i.e., Nationals, Nascar, World of Outlaw, Ragbri and such events in town the Fire Chief or his designee will use the CTC medical services event calculator to determine number of ambulances needed for stand by coverage. It will also be the responsibility of the event organizer to complete and submit the application and agreement for extra duty and stand by information to the service director 8 weeks in advance.
A. Inaccurate reporting of suspected attendance will be investigated by the fire chief or designee with a recommendation to City Council.
B. Ambulance used for the standby event must meet the requirements in this code. (Ord. 23-09, 7-17-2023)
