3-3-1: DEFINITIONS:
COMMERCIAL MARKET: An enclosed building where a number of merchants sell/market antiques, used or new household goods, crafts, curios, art or artifacts, and other such items, under the sponsorship of a "commercial market promoter" as defined in this section.
COMMERCIAL MARKET MERCHANT: Any individual, partnership or corporation that engages in the sale of items at a "commercial market" as defined in this section.
COMMERCIAL MARKET PROMOTER: An individual, partnership or corporation that either organizes, sponsors, promotes or makes space available, within an enclosed building, for profit for a commercial market or is otherwise considered an organizer of said commercial market.
PEDDLER: Any person carrying goods or merchandise who sells or offers for sale for immediate delivery such goods or merchandise; however, not to include wholesalers of retail products.
SOLICITOR: Any person who solicits or attempts to solicit an order of goods, subscriptions or merchandise to be delivered at a future date; however, not to include wholesalers of retail products.
TRANSIENT MERCHANT: Any person who engages in a temporary or itinerant merchandising business and in the course of such business hires, leases or occupies any building or structure whatsoever. Temporary association with a local merchant, dealer, trader or auctioneer, or conduct of such transient business in connection with, as a part of, or in the name of any local merchant, dealer, trader or auctioneer shall not exempt any person from being considered a transient merchant, except for any person which is defined as a "commercial market merchant" in this section.
