Pursuant to the provisions of the state code, the International Building Code, 2018 edition, the International Residential Code, 2018 edition and the International Existing Building Code, 2018 edition, and all amendments thereto as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted by reference by the city as its building code, except for such portions as may hereinafter be deleted, modified or amended.
