The City Manager shall, subject to the approval of the City Council, appoint a person to serve as Recreation Director. Such person shall serve under the direction of the City Manager and shall receive such compensation as may from time to time be fixed by the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Council. The Recreation Director shall employ, subject to the approval of the City Manager, such assistants as necessary to complete his/her duties. (Ord. 84-7, 11-6-1984, eff. 1-1-1985)
