A. Public Parks: It shall be unlawful for any person to enter or remain upon or in city of Knoxville public parks, between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M. without justification. This includes all properties associated with Auld park, Young's park, Edwards' park, the skatepark, and the Recreation Center outdoor use areas.
B. Provisions: The provisions of this section shall not apply to any event previously sanctioned by the city or the Knoxville chamber of commerce occurring in the parks during such restricted hours.
C. Penalty: Any violation of this section shall be considered a simple misdemeanor as provided for in title 1, chapter 4 of this code. (Ord. 07-05, 8-6-2007)
