It shall be unlawful for any person to use roller skates, in-line skates, bicycles, skateboards or other similar devices in and around the downtown square or on any public or private facility (unless they are an owner or invitee) other than the skatepark. The above devices may be used as a mode of transportation on city sidewalks and streets in a safe and responsible manner that would not put the public at risk of injury or harm. Person(s) violating this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00). (Ord. 03-05, 8-18-2003)
