6-3-22: LIQUOR AND BEER POSSESSION; CONSUMPTION:
   A.   Public Places: It shall be unlawful for any person to use or consume alcoholic liquor or beer upon the public streets or highways, or alcoholic liquors or beer in any public place, except premises covered by a liquor control license, or to possess or consume alcoholic liquors or beer on any public school property or while attending any public or private school related functions, to possess any open container of alcoholic liquors or beer upon the public streets or highways, including the sidewalk within the public right of way and on any private parking lot, within the city.    B.   Young Park: It shall be unlawful for any person to possess or consume alcoholic liquors or beer on the premises of Young park in the city. (Ord. 82-5, 5-3-1982)
   C.   Penalty: Any person who is found to have violated subsection A or B of this section shall be subject to a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) plus surcharge and costs. A court appearance shall not be required if the fine is paid in full prior to the date set for the person's court appearance. (Ord. 97-10, 5-19-1997)
