A three (3) hour parking limit is hereby established for areas designated by resolution by the city council. Parking a motor vehicle in such a designated area beyond the three (3) hour limit shall be a violation of this chapter. Whenever any motor vehicle is found parked or stopped in violation of this section, authorized city personnel finding such vehicle shall attach an overtime parking notice to said vehicle. Parking violations which are admitted may be paid by the payment as set forth by city resolution. Parking violations which are denied shall be charged and proceed before a court the same as other traffic violations. Each instance of parking a motor vehicle in excess of the three (3) hour limit shall constitute a separate violation. (Ord. 06-06, 7-24-2006)
