A. Police Department:
1. Provisions of this title and Iowa law relating to motor vehicles and law of the road shall be enforced by the officers of the Police Department.
2. The officers of the Police Department are hereby authorized to direct all traffic by voice, hand or signal in conformance with traffic laws. In the event of a fire or other emergency, officers of the Police Department may direct traffic as conditions require, notwithstanding the provisions of the traffic laws.
B. Fire Department: Officers of the Fire Department, when at the scene of a fire, may direct or assist the police in directing traffic. (Ord. 79-14, 7-16-1979)
