4-4-14: FEE PAYMENT FOR DOMESTIC AND INDUSTRIAL WASTES:
   A.   Treatment Fee: A treatment fee shall be set per one thousand (1,000) gallons (minimum) of hauled waste which shall be equal to the cost of disposal and treatment of an equivalent mass or pollutants otherwise delivered into the sewer system. The fees shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00) up to and including the first one thousand (1,000) gallons and any excess shall be charged an additional twenty dollars ($20.00) for each hundred gallons over the first one thousand (1,000) gallons.    B.   Monthly Billings: Fees shall be paid by the waste hauler on the basis of monthly billings by the city clerk's office. All fees shall be paid through the city clerk's office. Limits of credit shall be reasonable limits to be determined by the city clerk's office. Abuse of such credit shall be grounds for liability on the waste hauler's bond and for refusal of disposal services to any waste hauler under this chapter.
   C.   Waiver Of Fees: Council may waive fees for sponsors of special events sponsored by nonprofit groups located in the city. (Ord. 92-2, 5-18-1992)
