The recyclable and/or garbage/refuse hauler will develop a plan of education so as to inform his clientele of this chapter's requirements imposed upon the collection of garbage, refuse, and recyclable materials specific to their company. As part of this educational effort, the recyclable hauler will distribute, in printed form, a statement of his collection schedule as well as a statement of items which are recyclable and an explanation concerning how the garbage/refuse and recyclable system is to operate. Any cost associated with the educational effort shall be the exclusive responsibility of the recyclable hauler. The city will be responsible for a generic public education pamphlet regarding unit based pricing and recycling. (Ord. 02-08, 5-20-2002, eff. 7-1-2002)
