ADOPTING ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. 2-2012

OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF KNOX COUNTY INDIANA

An Ordinance adopting the County of Knox, Indiana Code of Ordinances.

   Whereas, the County of Knox, Indiana is required by statute to adopt a Code of Ordinances, and

   Whereas, it is the intent of Knox County, Indiana to comply with the laws of the State of Indiana, and

   Whereas, it is in the best interest of Knox County, Indiana to adopt a Code of Ordinances;

   NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED AS FOLLOWS:

   1.   That the Code of Ordinances attached to this ordinance is adopted as the Knox County Code of Ordinances.

   2.   That any Ordinance that for any reason is not included in this Code of Ordinances remains in full force and effect.

   3.   That the Code of Ordinances will be amended from time to time and those amendments are to be considered as part of the Code.

   4.   That the Code of Ordinances will be placed on line for access by the public.

   ADOPTED by the Knox County Board of Commissioners this 16th day of April, 2012.
