§ 30.14  TOURISM COMMISSION.
   (A)   The County Board of Commissioners hereby confirms that the County Tourism Commission shall continue in existence and shall operate pursuant to I.C. 6-9-18-1 et seq.
   (B)   The County Board of Commissioners hereby determines that the County Tourism Commission shall consist of five members, a simple majority of which must be:
      (1)   Engaged in a convention, visitor or tourism business; or
      (2)   Involved in or promoting conventions, visitors or tourism.
   (C)   In all other respects, members must be qualified and are subject to the provisions of I.C. 6-9-18-5.
   (D)   After expiration of the current terms of existing members of the County Tourism Commission, appointments to the Board shall be made by the following entities.
      (1)   The County Board of Commissioners shall appoint two of the members.
      (2)   The Mayor of the City of Vincennes shall appoint two of the members.
      (3)   The County Council shall appoint one of the members.
   (E)   The existing members of the County Tourism Commission shall retain their offices until the expiration of their current term. Upon the completion of the current members' terms, the following schedule of appointments shall apply.
      (1)   The County Board of Commissioners shall appoint the replacement of the first current member whose term shall expire, upon expiration of the term.
      (2)    The County Council shall appoint the replacement of the second current member whose term shall expire, upon expiration of the term.
      (3)   The Mayor of the City of Vincennes shall appoint the replacement of the third current member whose term shall expire, upon expiration of the term.
      (4)   The County Board of Commissioners shall appoint the replacement of the fourth current member whose term shall expire, upon expiration of the term.
      (5)   The Mayor of the City of Vincennes shall appoint the replacement of the fifth current member whose term shall expire, upon expiration of the term.
   (F)   New appointed members of the County Tourism Commission shall hold their offices for terms of two years. A member whose term expires may be reappointed to serve another term.
