(A) This document is written as a county-wide subdivision control ordinance for the county. All unincorporated communities and all incorporated cities and towns included in the county are to be regulated by this chapter.
(B) (1) A subdivider desiring approval of a subdivision of any land lying within the jurisdiction of the Commission shall submit a written application therefore to the Commission.
(2) The application shall be accompanied by the information, drawings and plans in accordance with the requirements set forth in this chapter and all other local ordinances and applicable laws.
(C) No subdivision of land located within the jurisdiction of the Commission shall be recorded or filed for transfer in public records until it has been approved by the Commission, and the approval shall have been signed and sealed by the executive director of the Area Plan Commission.
