(A) It is the declared intention of the Board of Commissioners of the county to avail itself of the provisions of I.C. 36-7-4, as amended, Indiana General Assembly, and to participate in the operation of the Area Planning Department after it is established, pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4.
(B) The Board of Commissioners of the county hereby adopts the provisions of I.C. 36-7-4, as amended, Indiana General Assembly.
(C) The Area Planning Department of the county is hereby established and shall be in existence from the date on which it is organized at its first meeting called by the president of the Board of County Commissioners.
(D) The membership of the Area Plan Commission of the county shall be as set forth in I.C. 36-7-4.
(E) A copy of this section, upon its passage and signature by the members of the Board of County Commissioners shall be certified to the respective Board of Trustees of the Town of Bruceville, Indiana, the Town of Decker, Indiana, the Town of Edwardsport, Indiana, the Town of Monroe City, Indiana, the Town of Oaktown, Indiana, the Town of Sandborn, Indiana, and the Town of Wheatland, Indiana, and also the City of Bicknell, Indiana, and the City of Vincennes, Indiana.
