For the purpose of this subchapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
OWNER. The person or legal entity that holds title to the real estate or the person or legal entity that is in possession of the real estate.
RANK VEGETATION. Any vegetation the grows where the vegetation is not wanted or any vegetation that is at least 24 inches in height.
REASONABLE TIME. Not less than ten days from the date of the notice.
SERVICE OF NOTICE. Notice shall be given in the same manner as authorized by the Indiana rules of trial procedure for the service of process. If the real estate appears to be abandoned then notice may be given by posting a notice on the real estate.
WEED. Any plant that grows where the plant is not wanted is a weed.
