The city shall enter into an agreement with the Board of Commissioners of the county, providing for the hiring of the County Sanitary Engineer to act as the Sanitary Engineer of the city, for the purpose of enforcing the Ohio Sanitary Code, to collect permit fees as prescribed by his or her office and to do all things necessary and incidental thereto. Such agreement shall cover all aspects of the Sanitary Engineer's office as are or will be performed in the city and shall continue from time to time until terminated with 30 days notice by either party.
