The village may require, as part of an adopted drainage basin plan or floodplain study, the payment of a fee in lieu of on-site stormwater storage to fulfill all or part of the on-site stormwater storage requirement for a development. Fee in lieu of on-site stormwater storage revenues may be used to plan, design or construct and upgrade to existing or future stormwater management system within the effected drainage basin.
