It shall be unlawful to hold, conduct, give, exhibit or perform or to suffer or permit to be held, conducted, given, exhibited or performed any public theatrical or other exhibition, show or amusement or to conduct or permit to be conducted any skating rink in the village, unless a license therefor shall be first obtained as herein provided and then only upon complying with all the terms and conditions of this chapter. In all cases, the owner of any premises within the village who permits or suffers to be held, conducted, given, exhibited or performed any public theatrical or other exhibition, show, or who permits any skating rink to be conducted upon his or her property in the village, unless a license therefor shall first be obtained, shall be guilty as a principal for the violation of this chapter.
