§ 95.02 CHARGES FOR FALSE ALARMS.
   (A)   The owner or tenant of any property where village personnel are dispatched to three or more false alarms within a calendar year shall be charged or fined as follows:
      (1)   Third through sixth false alarm: as set forth in Chapter 10, Appendix A of this code per false alarm; and
      (2)   Seven or more false alarms: as set forth in Chapter 10, Appendix A of this code per false alarm.
   (B)   The above charges/penalties shall be paid to the village within 30 days from the date of invoice from the village.
   (C)   After the second false alarm, the Chief of Police, or his or her designated agent, shall notify the alarm user in writing of each instance wherein the village has recorded a chargeable false alarm which occurs within the calendar year.
   (D)   Whenever a new alarm system is installed or a new resident or business takes control of an existing alarm system the new resident or business shall be given 45 days from the date of the installation or occupancy within which no alarm from the premises shall be deemed to be a false alarm.
