§ 52.50 PUBLIC HYDRANTS.
   (A)   No permit shall be required for the placing of public hydrants, fire hydrants, public fountains or public fixtures or work connected with the water system or plant, but the same shall be put in, in the manner as and when directed by the Board of Trustees.
   (B)   No person except members of the Fire Department in the line of their duties, or the Chief of Police, shall take any water from any public hydrant, fire plug or other public fixtures connected with the system or plant, and as to those excepted such water shall only be taken or used by them for public or corporate purposes. All water from public hydrants or faucets shall only be taken therefrom for immediate use and consumption at the public hydrants or faucets and shall not otherwise be used for private purposes in any way.
