Every boarding house, hotel, restaurant, saloon, fruit store, butcher shop, market, grocery and bakery shall have a garbage receptacle for receiving garbage and other refuse matter. Garbage receptacles shall also be placed at all other places of business and manufacturing and any or all private residences when so directed by written notice from the Health Officer and all garbage and refuse matter about such places shall be in the receptacles. Any person, owner, occupant or agent for the premises as shall fail to comply with the provisions of this section, shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in § 50.99.
