The jurisdiction of the Board, in general, is the town limits. The jurisdiction of the Board for the recommendation of properties to be designated historic is the town limits. The jurisdiction of the Board for the review of proposed alteration to exteriors of buildings, new construction, and demolition is the individual properties and areas that have been designated by the Council as historic.
