For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACCOMMODATIONS.
Any room (excluding meeting and conference rooms), lodging or sleeping accommodations furnished to transients by any hotel, motel, inn or "bed and breakfast" for consideration. The gross proceeds received from the lease or rental of sleeping accommodations supplied to the same person or persons for a period of more than 30 continuous days are not considered proceeds from transients.
CITY.
The Town of Kingstree.
GROSS PROCEEDS.
The total income received from the rental or lease of accommodations.
