The Police Department shall have the right at any time, upon presentation of proper identification, to enter into or upon any wrecker participating in the rotation program, for the purpose of inspecting the wrecker and its equipment to ensure public safety and adherence to the provisions. Any wrecker or equipment which is found to be unsafe or in poor mechanical or physical condition shall be immediately taken out of service until repaired or replaced and reinspected by the designated officer of the Police Department.
