(A) A "Statement of Candidacy" for the office of Mayor and for Council shall be filed with the Municipal Election Commission at the office of the Town Clerk no later than 12:00 noon, at least 60 days before the date of the election.
(B) Petitions may be filed which shall contain not less than 3% and not more than 5% of the names of registered voters.

(C) For the office of Mayor, a filing fee of $40 shall be paid. All candidates for Town Council shall pay a filing fee of $20. Fees shall be paid at time of filing.
