§ 52.01 NEW SERVICE CONNECTIONS.
   All taps for natural gas service shall be made by the city, unless specifically authorized in writing by the Superintendent of Gas and Electric Utilities. No tap fee shall be required for a residential or commercial service tap provided the length of service line does not exceed 100 feet. The city shall be reimbursed the full cost of that portion of service line exceeding 100 feet, the cost to be determined by the Superintendent, taking into account labor, equipment and material costs.
