§ 117.05 REGULATIONS FOR MOTORIZED VENDORS.
   (A)   A clearly audible back-up warning device that will activate whenever the vehicle is shifted into reverse must be used for the motorized vehicle of ice cream products.
   (B)   The operator must present a state inspection of the vehicle. If a proper inspection report is not available, the City Garage Department will inspect the vehicle at a cost of $25. Proper inspection must be completed and passed prior to the issuance of the license.
   (C)   Operators of ice cream vending vehicles shall not operate the vehicles for the sale of ice cream before 10:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m. or one-half hour after sunset, whichever occurs first.
   (D)   The applicant’s license and Cleveland County health certificate must be posted conspicuously in the ice cream vending vehicle at all times.
   (E)   The standards for the composition of ice cream and other frozen products sold shall in all instances conform to the requirements of the State Department of Agriculture.
   (F)   Selling of ice cream products within two blocks of a school during the hours in which the school is in session is prohibited. No vehicle shall park within 15 feet of an intersection for the purpose of selling the products, nor shall any vehicle occupy the same parking area for more than 30 minutes at any one time.
   (G)   The driver of the vehicles must abide by the city ordinances and police regulations with respect to traffic and not have the right to obstruct traffic with the vehicle.
   (H)   Every ice cream vending vehicle must have the name of the vendor painted thereon plainly and legibly. All vehicles shall be marked in a way that is clearly visible to other motorists to indicate that they are ice cream vending vehicles.
   (I)   The operators of the vehicles shall, at all times, keep the sidewalks, streets and other public spaces around the vehicle clean and free from paper and refuse of any and all kinds. The vehicle shall at all times be maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
