The Fire Code as referenced herein shall be principally enforced by the Bureau of Fire Prevention of the Fire Department. All designated enforcement officials of the city shall be certified by the State Code Officials Qualifications Board. Notwithstanding the requirements of this section, the authority of law enforcement officers to enforce the provision of this section is clearly authorized and permitted.
