§ 92.02  PLACEMENT OF WIRES.
   Unless exceptions have been granted by the Village Council, upon recommendation of the Village Engineer, all new or replacement distribution lines for electricity, telephone, television, or similar services distributed by wire or cable shall be placed entirely underground throughout the area. Electrical distribution lines shall be defined in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Michigan Public Service Commission.  Such conduits or cables shall be placed within private easements provided to such service companies by the proprietor, or within dedicated public ways.  All such facilities placed in public ways shall be planned so as not to conflict with other underground utilities.  All such facilities shall be constructed in accordance with standards approved by the Michigan Public Service Commission.  Private easements for underground utilities shall be shown on the site plan.
