§ 12-704 GIFTS, BEQUESTS, DONATIONS AND FUNDRAISING.
   (a)   The Progress Kingman Board, by and with the consent of the governing body, may solicit or receive any gifts or bequests of money or other personal property or any donation to be applied, principal or income, to assist the Board in carrying out its duties.
   (b)   The Progress Kingman Board can also host fundraising events to enhance funding for its projects, subject to approval from the governing body.
   (c)   All monies or property received from any source by the Progress Kingman Board or generated through activities of the Progress Kingman Board shall be accounted and submitted to the City Clerk as soon as is practicable after receipt.

ARTICLE 8: KINGMAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE

§ 12-801 KINGMAN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE; FORMATION.
   There is established a Kingman Economic Development Advisory Committee of this city, which will consist of five members. The governing body of the city shall select the five members, each holding a three-year term. In the first round of appointments, two of the members selected by the city shall have a two-year term. Vacancies shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term.

§ 12-802 OPERATION.
   (a)   The Kingman Economic Development Advisory Committee shall serve as a sounding board for ideas, support, and consultation for the Kingman Economic Development Director.
   (b)   The Kingman Economic Development Advisory Committee shall not have any supervisory authority over the Kingman Economic Development Director.
   (c)   The Kingman Economic Development Director shall serve as Chairperson and the Committee shall select a secretary from its members.
