6.08.240: CRUELTY TO ANIMALS PROHIBITED:
It is unlawful for any person to maltreat or torture any dog; or having the right or authority to kill any dog, to kill such dog in an inhumane manner. Violation of this provision shall be deemed a misdemeanor punishable pursuant to title 1, chapter 1.16, "General Penalty", of this code. (Ord. 510 § 1, 2003)
