6.08.130: RABIES VACCINATIONS:
Every dog shall be vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian with antirabies vaccine by the time that any dog reaches the age of six (6) months and every three (3) years thereafter on the anniversary date of the first vaccination; provided that the vaccination used is of the chick embryo type, and otherwise the dog must be inoculated annually. Upon vaccination, the veterinarian shall issue to the owner a certificate or tag showing the date of vaccination and the rabies tag must be affixed to the collar of the dog and worn at all times.
