§ 150.50 DUPLICATE NAMES.

   In the case of duplicate use of names for existing streets in the Towns of Nags Head, Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills, street names shall be changed by the respective governing board upon the recommendation of the Street Address Committee based upon the following criteria:

   (A)   Length of the street;

   (B)   Length of time the street name has been used;

   (C)   Number of residences and businesses along the street;

   (D)   Historical significance of the street name, if any; and

   (E)   Significance of the street name to a particular theme.
