(A) All measurements, tests and analysis of the characteristics or properties of waters and wastes to which reference is made in this subchapter shall be made in accordance with standard methods, herein defined, and shall be performed by a qualified laboratory.
(B) The town and all users of the wastewater system shall employ one or more of the following standard methods for the analysis of effluent:
(1) Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, current edition available from the American Public Health Association;
(2) American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Annual Book of Standards; or
(3) Environmental Protection Agency Methods for Chemical Analysis of Water and Wastes.
