(A) No person shall drive a vehicle upon any street, alley or public place in the town at a speed greater than is reasonable and prudent under the conditions then existing.
(B) No person shall drive a vehicle on any street, alley or public place in the town at a rate of speed in excess of that prescribed by state law or in excess of the maximum speed limits indicated by duly authorized signs.
