Before said permit is granted by the Health, Building and Zoning Officer, the party applying therefor shall file with the Health, Building and Zoning Officer a surety bond in the sum of $2,000, conditioned on the faithful performance of all safety laws of the City Building Code, or the state safety laws issued by the State Safety Inspector. Further, any person engaged in wrecking a building shall first obtain public liability insurance in the sum of $50,000. A duplicate of each policy shall be filed with the Health, Building and Zoning Officer.
