§ 119.24 COMPLAINTS FOR FALSE OR INACCURATE WEIGHTS.
   It shall be the duty of the City Sealer whenever he may have reason to suspect the existence of false or incorrect weights, measures, scales, beams, steelyards or other instruments as aforesaid being in use in the city, or upon the written complaint of any reputable citizen of the city, informing him of the existence thereof, to make immediate search for same, and it is hereby made his duty to prosecute all persons violating this chapter, or any section hereof, by making proper complaint before any court having jurisdiction of the matter as otherwise prescribed under the provisions of this code and the laws of the state.
